Guidelines for Submitting Your Blog

World Star Gazette is a new online newspaper that treats your daily life, as catalogued in your blog entries, as legitimate news stories worthy of headlines.

We're looking for bloggers who will send us compelling synopses (around 25 words), along with suggested headlines, of their most interesting blog entries. We only link to recent blog entries, so if you believe that your latest entry is "newsworthy," you should send us the link as soon as you post it. If the entry includes photos, it is more likely that we will choose it to be the featured story of the day.

We prefer that you use permalinks, which allow us to link directly to the entry you submitted, separate from the rest of your blog. However, if you do not have permalinks, we request that if we select your link for publication, you refrain from updating your blog until we remove the link, approximately 24 hours later. That way our headlines remain current.

We are looking for blog entries of all types. Humorous entries, action packed tales, dramatic events that have disrupted your life or enlightened you, insightful commentaries on the world and other people, or the idiotic stunt you just pulled. Essentially, if your latest entry stands out above the typical bloggerel and has a coherent point or story that can be encapsulated with a cool headline, we'd like to link to it.
